Ellie Aerts, PhD (she/her)

Ellie Aerts is the current recording secretary for PWU. She is a postdoctoral researcher in Occ Health Sci studying the neuroendocrine connections between nutrition and fertility. She is very passionate about women's health and community. Ellie also serves as the secretary for the Postdoc Society at OHSU. She supports her union because everyone deserves a safe, equitable place to work. Academia has come so far in the past few decades and it's up to us to continue pushing it in the right direction. When not in the lab, she enjoys hiking with her dog, knitting, reading, and rock climbing.
