Maggie Reid, PhD (she/her)

I am a health economist in the SOM’s Division of General Internal Medicine. I study health care markets and how the corporatization and financialization of health care affect patients. As PWU’s representative on the Employee Benefits Council, I apply my knowledge of health care to seek greater accountability from OHSU and advocate for low-cost health services. I am also the VP of PWU and am working on bolstering our steward program. When I’m not working, I love being outside in any capacity, but especially hiking, mountain biking, and skiing.
